The Cheshire Human Service Committee has added this web-based message board to our website for non-governmental organizations (NGOs) for the purposes of sharing resources and obtaining resources and assistance. NGOs will be required to register in order to post on this board. 

This message board enables registered users to share information and resources and to obtain resources from other agencies. 

This message board came about because a member of the Cheshire Human Services Committee had a conversation with managers from two different non-profit agencies over the course of one week recently.

One agency had so many sets of sheets that they did not know what to do with them and they were looking for folks in need.

The other agency manager was desperately searching for a donation of sheets for families that she needed to provide sheet sets to.

Neither agency knew of the existence of the other nor did they realize that they were in a position to help each other because they serviced two different communities and types of clients.

As a result of this conversation the Cheshire Human Services Committee decided that they could be a conduit for this type of information between agencies and groups.
