Special Needs At Risk  Registry

Register your special needs loved one on an At-Risk List with the police department.

The intention of the registry is to make available valuable, time saving, and perhaps lifesaving information to police or fire department in the event that they are called upon to respond to an incident involving your loved one.

This would include medical emergencies, 911 calls, as well as any other routine calls.

Please note that all information contained in the registry will be kept completely confidential.
Please complete the registry form and return it to the Cheshire
Police Department at:
                    The Cheshire Police Department

If you would like to have a photo ID produced, please call:
Executive Assistant Tom Kearney at (203) 271-5551to make an appointment.

  NEW CodeRED
    Emergency           Notification              System

The Town of Cheshire is implementing CodeRED, a town-wide telephone emergency notification system. This system gives town and school officials the ability to deliver emergency telephone notification or information messages to targeted areas or the entire town, at a rate of up to 60,000 calls per hour.

While the CodeRED initial database includes individual and business numbers from the local phone book, no one should automatically assume his or her phone number is included.
